RJD declares 20 candidates for 5th phase

RJD released its list of 20 candidates today for constituencies going to poll in the fifth phase in Bihar on November nine, retaining sitting MLAs Surendra Prasad Yadav and Kunti Devi.

RJD Secretary General Ramkripal Yadav and spokesperson
Shakeel Ahmed Khan declared the names of the candidates at a
press conference.

The party has fielded Surendra Yadav from Belaganj and
Kunti Devi from Atri, besides former state ministers Suresh
Paswan from Agiyawan), Raghvendra Pratap Singh from Barhara
and Rajballabh Prasad from Nawada.

Vijay Krishna, a former MP who recently crossed over to
RJD from ruling JD(U), will be the party`s nominee from Barh.
Krishna has been chargesheeted in a murder case.

The party has already fielded 125 candidates for the
first four phases of polls.

Under the seat-sharing arrangement, RJD is contesting
from 168 assembly seats, leaving rest 75 for its electoral
ally - LJP of Ramvilas Paswan.
