BJP MP lays foundation of polyclinic in north Delhi

BJP MP Manoj Tiwari on Tuesday laid the foundation of a two-storey municipal polyclinic to be constructed in Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar in north Delhi at a cost of nearly Rs 1.95 crore.

New Delhi: BJP MP Manoj Tiwari on Tuesday laid the foundation of a two-storey municipal polyclinic to be constructed in Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar in north Delhi at a cost of nearly Rs 1.95 crore.

The medical facility on Hudson Lane in the area will be spread over an area of 693.34 sq m. It will comprise dispensary room, dressing and injection room, malaria room, multipurpose room, one hall and toilet for men and women on each floor, the NDMC said in a statement.

North Delhi mayor Yogender Chandolia, NDMC Standing Committee Chairman, Mohan Prasad Bhardwaj and a number of local residents were present on the occasion.

Tiwari said the good health will ensure realising demographic dividend and North Delhi Municipal Corporation was working to achieve it.

He also said that such type of medical facilities would help the residents to get medical care at their doorsteps, it said.
