Ex-Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit's son-in-law arrested under Domestic Violence Act

New Delhi: Former Delhi Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Sheila Dikshit's son-in-law Syed Muhammed Imran was on Sunday arrested by the Delhi Police under the Domestic Violence Act. 

The accused Imran and Dikshit 's daughter Latika had been living separately for last ten months and the couple have no children. 

Imran was booked after Latika filed a complaint under relevant provisions of Domestic Violence Act at at Barakhamba Police station. 

The arrest was made two days ago when a Delhi Police team visited Bengaluru and arrested Imran from there, as per a report. 

Sheila Dikshit is Congress' chief ministerial nomineee in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assemble elections.
