New Delhi: A Delhi court on Friday rejected the bail plea of former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit's son-in-law Syed Mohammad Imran in connection with a domestic violence case.

Imran has been sent to 14 days judicial custody.

He has been booked under the Domestic Violence Act after Dikshit's daughter Latika filed a complaint at the Barakhamba Road Police Station following which a case under relevant provisions was registered.

Imran was earlier on November 15 sent to two-day police custody. He was arrested from Bangalore and brought to the national capital on transit remand.

Latika separated from Imran ten months back.
