Who is the big boss in Delhi? Jung or Kejriwal! Supreme Court to hear

New Delhi: Who holds the final say in matters of administration in Delhi? Is it Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal or Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung. This is what the Supreme Court will ponder on Friday.

The matter has gone to the country's highest court after the High Court in Delhi recently ruled that the Lieutenant Governor has the final say.

However, Kejriwal's contention is that as the elected Chief Minister of Delhi, he is the top boss of the national capital.

According to NDTV, the chief minister's lawyer has requested the top court to hear the case on urgent basis, claiming that some senior bureaucrats are choosing to report to the Lieutenant Governor instead of the Delhi government.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has alleged that its work is obstructed regularly by the Centre by exercising its power over agencies like the Delhi Police, which report to the centre and not the state.
