Watch video: This is what happened when a moose shook its head!

New Delhi: A moose is a part of the deer family and is known as the largest of their species. Rarely seen moving around, not many are aware of the facts regarding them, that make them stand out.

In a short, albeit mesmerizing video shot by a family, just outside of Laramie, Wyoming, captured a rare moment that many didn't know to be true.

The initial footage shows the bull moose calmly sauntering in a picturesque snowy field, when suddenly the moose shakes its head. What happens next, will blow you away!

The family who captured the video relayed their wonderful experience to National Geographic.

Not giving away too much, we'll just tell you that whatever happens in the video is actually a normal occurrence among the moose species and is part of the male moose's mating season.

This phenomena hasn't been captured much on video, therefore, it is a wonderful experience in itself.
