Love`s `work of art` mistaken for trash

Courtney was left fuming when her favourite piece of art was thrown away.

London, April 07: Rockstar Courtney Love was left fuming when her favourite piece of art was thrown away by packers who mistook it for trash. The art work by artist Polly Morgan, consists of a dead chick in a match box, had cost the 44-year-old singer 8,000 pound, reported Daily Mail online.

"Courtney is beside herself. She had entrusted her personal assistant to supervise her move from a rented house in Malibu to a big place up in the Hollywood Hills. One of the removal men mistook Morgan`s art work for rubbish and threw it out," a source told the newspaper. Love was so angry at the loss that she immediately fired her assistant. "She`s fired the assistant and is going nuts because, to her, the work was priceless and irreplaceable," the source added. The piece of art by British artist Polly Morgan, who has Kate Moss and Damien Hirst in her list of clients, had been specially commissioned by Love after much discussion with the artist herself. "After much debate Courtney had eventually settled for the dead chicklet. But when the removal men came in to pack everything up, the dead chicklet obviously looked like junk to them.
