Blackheads are one of the most common skin problem that we totally hate! Those small bumps cropping on our noses, foreheads and chins surely gross us out. Blackheads occur when your pores become clogged with excess sebum and dead skin cells. If blackheads are not removed they might cause pimples and acne. Honestly, they can be quite frustrating to deal with. But the good news is, with home remedies, it's quite simple to get rid of them fast and naturally.

With easily available ingredients at home, you can clear your pores and banish those dreaded blackheads. Listed below are 3 most trusted remedies:

Steam facial:

One of the most efficient and easiest methods to get rid of blackheads safely and naturally is by steaming your face. Facial steaming loosens and softens the skin, naturally driving out the blackheads.

How to do it:

Make sure your face is clean sans make up. Boil a little water in a pan and you may add a few drops of lemon juice if you like.

Lower your face on top of the steam that is coming out of the water. Keep a towel on your head to lock in the steam. Make sure your face is at a distance from the water as it might burn your skin.

Your skin will feel soft after few minutes. Now, pat dry with a towel.

Baking Soda Treatment:

Another easily available and effective treatment for blackheads is the baking soda therapy.

How to do it:

Make a thick paste by mixing two to three teaspoons of baking soda with 1 teaspoon of water. Scrub the paste to the affected areas in gentle motions and massage for 3-4 minutes. Rinse with warm water afterwards. The baking soda mixture will dry up the blackheads.

DIY Egg white pore strip:

Pore strips and peel off masks from the shops can be quite heavy on your pocket, so it is a smart move to turn to an easy homemade pore strip. And what better than egg white with abundant protein content which helps tighten your pores.

How to do it:

Separate the yolk from the white and whip it up. Using a make up brush, paint a layer of egg white over the area you want to remove those blackheads from. On top of your egg white layer place some facial tissue or toilet paper. Use another layer of egg white to hold it in place, then let it dry and harden.

When the mask is dry, peel the tissue off, and then slowly pull it from one edge to the other. Wash your face gently to remove any residue.
