London: British leader of opposition Jeremy Corbyn on Saturday called on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the second day of his three-day visit to Britain.
Corbyn, the Labour Party leader, is among the parliamentarians who signed a motion urging British Prime Minister David Cameron to raise human rights issues during his talks with Modi.
The motion signed by the British lawmakers calls for the release of political prisoners. The motion by the British lawmakers also deplored the ban by the Indian government on BBC documentary "India's daughter" which was based on the December 16 gang rape of a young girl in Delhi.
