Despite visit to HQ, guess how Google search treats PM Narendra Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who recently visited Google headquarters and interacted with CEO Sundar Pichai during his US visit, is still shown as one among the “World's Most Stupid Prime Ministers” in Google Images.

Earlier this year, a search of 'Top 10 criminals in the world' was showing Modi's picture along with criminals like Dawood Ibrahim and Al Capone. Google had then apologised to the Prime Minister.

Later, a search for “World's Most Stupid Prime Ministers” started showing Modi along with other leaders like David Cameron, Tony Abbot. The Internet search giant still shows Modi prominently when a search for the `World's Most Stupid Prime Ministers` is made.

Despite offering an apology earlier and saying the company is working to prevent such results, Google has failed to weed out inaccurate information.

Pichai had received Modi with a handshake and took the Indian PM to a tour of the Googleplex in Mountain View.
