Gold bars recovered from a woman passenger at Kolkata airport

Kolkata: Gold bars weighing 2.1 kg were seized from a woman passenger after she arrived at the NSC Bose international airport here from Bangkok on Saturday.

The gold bars were seized by customs from one Reshma Chowdhury when she landed here by a private airline this morning, custom officials said.

The woman has been held by the police.
