'PM Narendra Modi is now a global leader, people have high expectations from him'

New Delhi: Highlighting the US lawmakers recent praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, spiritual leader Jaggi Basudev has said that the people have high expectations from the former, who has now become a global leader.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a global leader. Looking at the enthusiasm among the Americans, one can say that the people have lot of expectations from him," Basudev told ETV head Jagdeesh Chandra on his popular J.C. Show.

Basudev urged the people to proactively work for the society to make this world a better place to live in.

"The world will be as we want it to be. I want it to be a beautiful one. People should understand that life is too short, so, they have to proactively work for the society and the world around them," he said while replying to Chandra's poser over what will be the world in next 50 years.
