Very little business in Bihar Legislature as Opposition protests

Patna: The Bihar legislature on Monday transacted very little business with ruling as well as opposition legislators trooping into well at both the houses in support of their demands.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was not present in either of the house.
He had gone to his native place Kalyan Bigha to pay respect to his departed father on his death anniversary.
In state Legislative Assembly, as the House sat for the day, JD(U), RJD and Congress members came into the well and started raising slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
BJP members too rushed to the well in support of its adjournment notice on law and order situation.
Unruly scenes were witnessed with members pushing and shoving each other.
In the midst of intense protest, Congress MLA Ramdeo Rai and some from BJP and RJD were seen standing on reporters' table.
The Speaker first adjourned the House till 12 O'clock.
Earlier, even before Speaker Vijay Kumar Chaudhary came in the House, MLAs of ruling as well as opposition parties had gathered around reporters' table and raised slogans against each other.
The scene was no better after the house reassembled and the Speaker was forced to adjourned it again till 2 PM.
Pandemonium prevailed when the house resumed.
Though grand alliance legislators were together in the well but they had their different agendas.
Senior JD(U) leader and deputy leader of the house Shyam Rajak told reporters outside the Assembly that they were protesting purchase of land by BJP for opening their offices in districts allegedly out of black money in higher denomination of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 notes.
He demanded CBI probe into the land purchase by BJP in Bihar.

Congress members vented their anger against BJP members for their alleged uncharitable remarks against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi on Monday in Legislative Council.
BJP and its NDA allies RLSP, LJP and HAM protested alleged deterioration in law and order situation in the state.
The same political drama was enacted in Legislative Council by rival parties in the well against.
Amid din, former Chief Minister Rabri Devi was heard seeking apology from BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi and state party chief and MLC Mangal Pandey for "uncharitable comment" of BJP members on Lalu Prasad and Sonia Gandhi ,failing which they would not allow the house to function.
The council was first adjourned till 1 PM and later till lunch recess due to pandemonium.
