New Delhi: In its efforts to dispel misconceptions about yoga, the Centre is planning to release a book 'Yoga and Islam'.
The book, prepared with inputs from the Muslim Rashtriya Manch - Muslim wing of RSS – rejects the suggestion that Yoga is “non-Islamic”. The book also states that Prophet Muhammad was Yogi, sources said.
The message of United Nations chief Ban-ki Moon on yoga emphasising that it “does not discriminate” is also part of the book.
