Watch: Chhattisgarh cops fired over 100 shots to kill a bear but only 16 hit the target

New Delhi: Chhatisgarh Police had a tough time in neutralising a female bear, which had killed three persons. 

The cops were called in after the forest officers failed to tranquillize her. A forest official was also among the three people who were killed by the bear.

The video, which was shot by a mobile phone, shows cops open discriminate firing to kill the animal. Only 16 bullets, out of total 100 shots, hit the target. 

Police say they had no other option than to kill the animal which has become a threat for the locals.
