Delhi: On December 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi for the first time since demonetisation.
During his visit, PM Modi, who interacted with party cadre and had lunch with them, sought to enthuse them by sharing his own experiences and telling them how he rose through the ranks, according to Piysh Vardhan Singh Rajkumar, co-convener of the BJP's IT cell for Kashi region,
The PM launched some developmental programmes there and had made rounds of the DLW ground, chatting with many of the workers individually before winding up his tour.
At the same time, the PM had asked BJP cadres in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh to tell people about the central government's initiatives, as per PTI.
But what is interesting is that for lunch, PM Modi had brought his own tiffin.
The official Twitter account of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) posted - "Everyone including PM brought their own tiffins and had discussion over a meal. Such equality is possible only in BJP."
