When Sushma Swaraj came to rescue of Indian woman 'harassed' in Italy
Gurmukh Singh's sister was allegedly being harassed over a dowry case in Italy.
New Delhi: In an extraordinary gesture, External Affairs Minister Sushma on Sunday responded to a distress call of a common man on Twitter whose sister was allegedly being harassed over a dowry case in Italy.
Swaraj took to Twitter to calm the concerned brother -Gurmukh Singh- who identified her sister as Sukhvinder Kaur.
Notably, the minister even assured Singh that Indian Embassy in Italy will now follow-up the said case.
