Suspected Maoists trigger IED blast in Jharkhand​'s Palamau district

Medininagar: Two policemen were killed and seven others injured when suspected Maoists triggered an IED blast on the Mohuadand-Japla road near Kalapahar of Palamau district.

Commandant of 134 Battalion of CRPF S K Linda said the IED went off when their vehicle was leading other security personnel comprising paramilitary and district armed forces in a special drive.

The condition of three of the injured was stated to be serious, he added.
