K R Bhaskaran, brother of K R Narayanan dead

Kottayam: K R Bhaskaran, brother of
former president late K R Narayanan died at a private hospital
here today due to old age.

He was 87 and a bachelor, family sources said.

Son of Raman Vaidyan and Pappy Amma, Bhaskaran completed
B A (honours) from a University in London and became a
lecturer for about 11 years. Prior to that he worked in a
supervisory cadre in Lucknow and Malaysia.

A member of Uzhavoor block panchayat, Bhaskaran was a
lecturer in a parallel college at Ettumanoor near here.

Bhargavi, Bhanumati and late Gowri were his sisters and
Neelakantan and Vasu brothers.

The body will be cremated at the family property in
Uzhavoor tomorrow.
