Mild tremors in Idukki district

Kottayam: Mild tremors rocked parts of high
range Idukki district last evening, police said Thursday.

A tremor with a magnitude of 1.1 on Richter Scale was
recorded at 6.04 PM yesterday followed by another of 0.7
intensity two minutes later in Kulamavu and Upputhara areas,
they said.
There were no reports of any damage to property caused by
the tremors, which lasted for about 20 seconds.
This is the third tremor to occur in the last two weeks in
Idukki district.
