Thiruvananthapuram: Rain occurred at most
places in Kerala and light rain occurred in Lakshadweep.
According to meteorology sources here, Perumbavoor
reported an isolated heavy rainfall of 7 cm.
The other chief amounts of rainfall reports in cm are
Mavelikkara, Nedumangad, Piravom, Harippad, Vaikkom 5 each.
Alappuzha, Mankompu, Kanjirappally, Thiruvalla 4 each.
Kottayam, Kozhikode and Neyyattinkara 3 each.
Maximum temperature was appreciably above normal in
Kozhikode district. Kannur, Kozhikode and Punalur recorded the
highest maximum temperature of 36 degree celsius.
Forecast valid until the morning of April 8, rain or
thunder showers will occur at a few places in Kerala and at
isolated places in Lakshadweep. Outlook no significant change.
