Shirdi: Raosaheb Shekhawat, Congress MLA from Amaravati and son of President Pratibha Patil, has refuted some media reports linking him with former Mumbai Congress chief Kripashankar Singh, who is facing charges of amassing wealth disproportionate to his known source of income.
Talking to reporters here yesterday, Shekhawat said,
"Singh was a senior Congress leader and had friends in every
political party."
He refuted the reports linking him with Singh, aired by
some news channels.
