Dehradun, June 14: In a breathtaking ceremony today 431 cadets passed out from the portals of the Indian Military Academy, making it one of the most memorable days of their lives.
Defence minister George Fernandes today
wished cadets of the Indian Military Academy (IMA) all
success in their life in the defence services and urged
them to uphold the tenets of the institution.
The ceremony was closed by the pipping of the stars, on the shoulders of the young graduates of the Academy. This was followed by the oath taking ceremony and the Academy song—
“Kadam se kadam badhaye ja.....” on the steps of the Khetarpal
Auditorium.
