Hyderabad, Apr 19: Continuing crack-down on ISI operatives, Andhra Pradesh Police today nabbed another youth Zubair Sherif from the old city area here taking total number of arrests in the last three days to six with some of them being allegedly involved in murder of former Gujarat home minister Haren Pandya.
"All the arrested are part of a 15-member gang which called itself 'Muslim defence force' with specific mission of eliminating important leaders in the country," the state Director General of Police P Ramulu told reporters.
While four persons, including Asghar Ali, the main killer who pulled the trigger on Pandya, were picked up by special CBI team on Thursday at Medchel on the city outskirts, another ISI operative Mohammad Shafi was arrested in the city yesterday.
"We are on the look-out for the remaining members of the gang," the DGP said.
