Bangalore, Feb 24: The Indian Space Research Organisation has set up a high-powered committee to investigate the cause of the blast at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
The team, consisting of current and former Isro officials, has been asked to submit its report ''as soon as possible'', Isro Additional Secretary S K Das told reporters.
''Emergency action teams have been put in place. The fire, which was caused as a result of the blast, has been almost brought under control,'' he added.
