Lucknow Oct 31: In its pursuit to resolve the vexed Ayodhya issue through dialogue between Hindus and Muslims, the newly-formed Ayodhya Jama Masjid Trust (JMT) today submitted a letter to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Mulayam Singh Yadav urging him to set up an 'Ayodhya cell in the state on the lines of the PMO for the speedy resolution of the tangle.'
The Chief Minister has been urged to set up an Ayodhya cell which should be managed by a high-powered cabinet sub-committee in order to help bring both the Ram Janma Bhoomi Nyas and Jama Masjid trust on one platform to find ways and means of ending the dispute, (JMT)managing trustee, S AA Rizvi told reporters. .

Releasing copies of the letter, Rizvi said that Muslim community wanted a 'Jama Masjid in Ayodhya in return for the demolished mosque and added that since Babar was an invader a memorial' in his name was not acceptable to the community.

Urging Yadav to initiate steps for resolving the issue, Rizvi asked him to take up the matter in the assembly and Cabinet, if necessary, and help in creating a favourable
atmosphere for settling the issue.

Rizvi suggested that 40 acres of land including five acres of the Hanumana Garhi Temple be provided to the Muslim community for building a Jama Masjid complex away from the disputed area and in return the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas could start construction of the temple in the acquired 67 acres of land.
