Ajmer, Oct 06: Convenor of Babri Masjid Coordination Committee, Syed Shahbuddin, says Muslims will accept court verdict in Ayodhya case even if it goes against them.

Ajmer, Oct 06: Convenor of Babri Masjid Coordination Committee, Syed Shahbuddin, says Muslims will accept court verdict in Ayodhya case even if it goes against them.

"But it is doubful whether they will get permission to
reconstruct a mosque at Ayodhya if the case goes in their
favour," he told reporters here yesterday.

The court judgement will be accepted by all – Babri Masjid Coordination Committee, All India Babri Masjid Action committee and All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Shahbuddin said after offering "chaddar" at the dargah.

The court is hearing the case on a day-to-day basis and a
judgement is expected soon, he said.

Shahbuddin referred to reported VHP leaders' utterances
that they would not accept the court ruling if it went against
them and said contempt of court proceedings should be launched
against those making such statements.

A national seminar would be organised in Delhi on December 6, the 10th anniversary of the demolition of Babri Mosque in Ayodhya, he said.
