Sukhwinder`s Wakado woes

Mumbai: A small chip called Wakado may be a boon for non-singers as it helps in improvising their voices, but Sukhwinder Singh doesn`t seem to be very happy with the new technology.

"In the music industry, there is a chip that has turned into a virus. The name of the chip is Wakado. If you add it to anyone`s voice, be it even a milkman, the chip will correct his singing. Even if that person has no connection to music," Singh, who is the voice behind songs like "Chaiyya chaiyya" and "Jai ho", told IANS. The 41-year-old has recently crooned "Thok denge hum seena" for Prakash Jha`s upcoming film "Chakravyuh", which is said to be an anthem for Naxals (Maoists). IANS
