One more arrested for Godhra train carnage

Godhra, Aug 28: Police today arrested one more
person allegedly involved in burning the S-6 coach of the
Sabarmati Express near Godhra railway station last year,
official sources said here.

Siddique Mohmmed Morya, who was absconding after the
train carnage, was arrested from Satpul Odha locality of the
Panchamahal district town early this morning, sources
added.

He has been handed over to the railway police, that is
investigating the case.

Fifty-nine Ram Sevaks, returning from Ayodhya were
charred to death when miscreants torched the S-6 bogie of
Sbarmati Express on February 27 last year, sparking off
worst-ever communal riots in Gujarat.
