Sonu Nigam’s mother dead, cremated

Sonu Nigam’s mother Shobha Nigam breathed her last Thursday, after battling prolonged illness.

New Delhi: Playback singer Sonu Nigam’s mother Shobha Nigam who breathed her last Thursday afternoon at 1:40 pm at her Andheri home, has been cremated. She was suffering from terminal liver cancer and was under medication for the last one year. The 63-year-old’s last rites were performed at the Vile Parle crematorium at 9.30 am Friday morning. Bollywood celebrities Sajid-Wajid, Talat Aziz, Jatin Pandit and Bhushan Kumar were present at the cremation ceremony. (With inputs from IANS)
