`Aman Ki Aasha` remake of Spanish film

Mumbai: Pakistani actor Ali Zafar, who has wrapped up shooting for his Hindi film ‘Aman Ki Aasha’, says it is a remake of a Spanish movie.

The 2004 Spanish film ‘Seres Queridos’ (‘Only Human’) was a comic love story of a Jewish girl and a Palestinian boy, while the Hindi version has an Indo-Pak setting. "It`s about a Pakistani boy and an Indian girl. It`s a romantic comedy. It`s a remake of a Spanish film," Ali said. Yami Gautam plays his love interest in the movie. "The shoot for the film was completed in March. Yami was a great co-star to work with," he added. Directed by E. Niwas, ‘Aman Ki Aasha’ is being produced by Neeraj Pandey. IANS
