New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee Thursday greeted the nation on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, being celebrated Friday, and said people should be inspired by Prophet Mohammad`s message of universal brotherhood and compassion.
"May the message of universal brotherhood, compassion, tolerance and service to humanity preached by the Holy Prophet guide and inspire us all to live a righteous and productive life," the president said in his message, according to a statement.
