Omar Sy joins `Jurassic World`

Los Angeles: `X-Men: Days of Future Past` star Omar Sy has been signed on for the fourth installment of the `Jurassic Park` franchise.

The 36-year-old actor, who plays Bishop in the new `X-Men` film, confirmed the casting to his followers on Twitter, reported Ace Showbiz. "Fan of this saga from the beginning, I`m very proud to be part of the cast for `Jurassic World`," he tweeted. However, it is unclear what role Sy will play but the actor will join Chris Pratt, Bollywood star Irrfan Khan, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Jake Johnson, and Vincent D`Onofrio, who will play the main baddie. Directed by Colin Trevorrow, the film is due to hit theatres on June 12, 2015.
