Ayodhya, Apr 14: A piece of glazed green tile, an elephant shaped terracota piece and a black bead were among articles found during excavation work in acquired land here today, sources said.
A piece of glazed green tile was found and an elephant
shaped terracota piece was discovered in G-7 trench which was
in the south of the makeshift structure.
In the two new trenches, G-1 and E-1, a black bead and a
sandstone piece were found while in E-1 and ZH-1 trenches,
situated in west of the makeshift structure, five terracota
pieces were found along with five pieces of bones. The articles
were kept in sealed covers.
The crane, which was taken inside the acquired land
yesterday, was being used to shift stone boulders and other
heavy materials strewn in the site and to clear the way for
digging work.
About 126 labourers, including 26 Muslims were engaged in
digging work, the sources said.
