Tamil Maanila Congress (TMC) formally announced that it would merge with Congress.
The modalities of the merger will be discussed at a meeting between Congress President Sonia Gandhi and TMC chief G K Vasan in New Delhi soon.
This was announced by Vasan, AICC general secretary Oscar Fernandes and AICC secretary Ramesh Chennithala at a press conference in Chennai.
