Mumbai, Jan 07: Rounding off his two-day visit to the metropolis, Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee left for Pune this morning.
Vajpayee left by a special Indian Air Force aircraft for the cultural capital of Maharashtra where he is scheduled to inaugurate the Savai Gandharva memorial in the afternoon.
Maharashtra governor Mohd Fazal saw the Prime Minister off at naval air base INS Kunjali, from where Vajpayee took a helicopter to Chatrapati Shivaji Airport.
Vajpayee attended a dinner hosted in his honour by the governor at Raj Bhavan last night.
