Shiv Sena leader Amit Arora shot at in Ludhiana

Ludhiana: In a gruesome incident, two unidentified motorcycle-borne men allegedly fired at Shiv Sena leader Amit Arora in Ludhiana on Wednesday night.

The incident took place at Basti Jodhewal Chowk​.

Arora, who sustained injuries in the neck, was rushed to the CMC hospital after the incident. His gunmen escaped unhurt.

Arora, who had arrived at Basti Jodhewal Chowk from the Jalandhar bypass in his car, was apparently waiting for someone when the two motorcycle-borne men fired at him and fled away.

The police have registered an FIR and the probe is on.
