Phagwara: Two brothers were on Wednesday arrested by the police and arms nd ammunition were recovered from their possession here.
Manoj Kumar alias Dipa and his brother Madan Kumar, both belonging to Kapurthala were arrested this morning, police said.
Two .32 bore calibre country-made pistols and 5 live cartridges of 7.65 MM were also seized from their possession, police said.
While one pistol and three live cartridges were seized from Manoj, one pistol and two live cartridges were seized from Madan.
A case under various sections of Arms Act was registered against the duo.
Police said that during preliminary questioning the duo revealed that they used to take contract money for killing.
