Islamabad, Oct 25: Promising renewed diplomatic,
moral and political support to Kashmiris, Pakistan President
Pervez Musharraf today said Indian decision to withdraw troops
from the international borders has "fully vindicated"
Islamabad's stand to resolve all outstanding issues through
dialogue and not through coercion.

Presiding over the meeting of J&K Council
of the Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), he said India started
escalation of the situation on the borders with the purpose
of trying to coerce Pakistan militarily and politically.

He said Indian decision of withdrawal of troops from
International Border has vindicated Pakistan's stand.

Maintaining that Pakistan's stand on Kashmir was based on
principles, he claimed that leaders of the United States,
European Union and organisation of Islamic community have
realised that Kashmir issue was the root cause of tensions
between Pakistan and India.

A second resolution the council called on India to bring
an immediate end to the "violation" of LoC by the armed forces
and accept the Pakistani proposal for a natural mechanism for
monitoring of allegations of cross border infiltration along
the LoC. A third resolution has urged the UN to take note of
the Indian "sponsored terrorism" in Kashmir and Pakistan and
should use its influence with the Indian government to desist
from promoting terrorism and subversive activities.
