Amitabh Bachchan croons for an advertisement

Mumbai, April 16: Amitabh Bachchan has sung many times for films but for the first time, he will be singing for an advertisement. Not only this, he has also helped in composing the jingle. News has it that the actor has sung for Navratna oil, to be aired shortly. The ad film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh of ‘Jhankar Beats’ fame, while Vishal and Shekhar are the music directors of the ad. Big B, the brand ambassador of the brand, reportedly spent hours in the studio providing inputs on composition, tuning etc, with Vishal-Shekhar. Mr Aakash Neil Dasgupta, Group Head (Copy), Mudra Communications, talked of his experience of working with Big B. “I have worked with Mr Bachchan on a number of occasions, but never noticed this kind of energy level. The film was complete in a fortnight including two days of shooting. It was a fabulous experience,” Dasgupta said. It seems like the Big B refuses to slow down with age.
