Minor girl raped, murdered in Uttar Pradesh

Etawah: A nine-year-old girl was allegedly abducted, raped, and murdered in Bharthana area here, police said on Friday.

The incident took place last night when some persons abducted the girl from near her house, took her to a secluded place and raped her, they said.

They later killed the girl by hitting her with some blunt object, police said.

The body was recovered this morning from the bushes near railway godown.

The police said they are probing the matter but no arrests have been made so far in this connection.
