Woman thrown off a moving train in UP

Muzaffarnagar: An unidentified woman, allegedly thrown off a moving train, was found unconscious along the tracks on the Delhi-Saharanpur railway route in Shamli district, police said on Monday.

A local resident spotted the woman lying unconscious near the railway track of Budhpur railway station last evening. She was immediately rushed to a hospital in Shamli, SHO, Railway Protection Force, Ajay Kumar said.

The woman, in her late 30s, is suspected to have been thrown off a moving train, he said.

She was later shifted to the district hospital after her condition worsened, the SHO said, adding that her identity is yet to be ascertained.
