TMC councillor alleges attack on her house

Howrah: Unidentified persons allegedly attacked the Liluah residence of the councillor of Trinamool Congress of Howrah Municipal Corporation late this evening.

The ward no seven councillor Pampa Banerjee complained the armed miscreants attacked her house and took away her husband.

Police sources said senior officials went to the spot after hearing her complaint but did not confirm the incident.

Local CPI(M) claimed the attack was carried by rival faction of the ruling party.
