Two killed in crude bomb explosion in West Bengal

The report said the explosion was a fallout between two factions of the ruling Trinamool Congress.

Kolkata: At least two people were killed and another injured in a crude bomb explosion in West Bengal on Tuesday.

The explosion took place when the men were making bombs at an open ground in Bindarpur village in the early hours today, a police officer said.

ANI had earlier reported that three people were killed and a same number were injured.

Both the victims were in their 30s and their identities were yet to be established.

The injured identified as one Azad Sheikh was rushed to a hospital.

Locals alleged that the incident was related to a conflict among two factions of the Trinamool Congress.

West Bengal goes to polls next month.
