Paris: Alain Juppe conceded defeat and congratulated Francois Fillon on his "large victory" in France`s rightwing presidential primary on Sunday.
Speaking as partial results showed a resounding victory for Fillon, Juppe wished his opponent "good luck" in his campaign to become France`s next leader in elections next year.
