Singapore's former President SR Nathan passed away on Monday, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said in a statement. He was 92.

Singapore: Singapore's former President SR Nathan passed away on Monday, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said in a statement. He was 92.
Nathan suffered a stroke on July 31. He was in critical condition and was in the Intensive Care Unit at Singapore General Hospital since then.
Nathan was the sixth and longest-serving President in Singapore, and was in office for two terms from 1999 to 2011.
