Sushant Singh Rajput signed for Rajkumar Hirani`s `Peekay`

Mumbai: Popular TV actor Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen alongside Aamir Khan in Rajkumar Hirani`s next film `Peekay`.

Sushant shot to fame with his role as Manav Deshmukh in Ekta Kapoor`s hit show `Pavitra Rishta`. With `Rock On` fame director Abhishek Kapoor, Sushant is making his debut as an actor in Bollywood with `Kai Po Che`, where he playing the lead. Even before this film hits cinema houses next year, Sushant has bagged a role in Rajkumar Hirani`s `Peekay`. "Yes...Sushant has been signed for `Peekay`," sources close to the project told PTI, without divulging details of his role in the film. There was a buzz in B-town that Aamir`s nephew actor Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were considered for this role. For leading roles in `Peekay` Aamir and Anushka Sharma have been finalised. Currently, Sushant is wrapping up his debut movie. PTI
