Russian military confirms halt to bombing in line with truce deal

Moscow: Russia`s Air Force has halted bombing in Syria in accordance with a ceasefire agreement brokered by Russia and the United States, the General Staff of the Armed Forces said.

"Russia`s Air Force fully halted bombing in the green zone that is in those areas and those armed groups which had sent us ceasefire requests," a senior representative of the General Staff Sergei Rudskoi told reporters.
