London: With the release of their remastered catalogue, `Beatlemania` has gripped Britain again and the Fab Four are once again dominating the music charts.
A whopping 50,000 of their sparkling re-issues were sold in just one day, propelling them into the Top 10 of the official charts.
The repackaged and remastered back catalogue hit shop shelves on Wednesday and the 16 albums have all found a place in the the top 75, reported Sun online.
The legendary British band consisting of John Lennon, Paul Mc Cartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr had pioneered the rock movement during the 60`s and the current sales are matching up to their heydays.
`Abbey Road`, the final album the band recorded together before splitting up in 1970 has raced to No7 in the midweek rundown, with `Sgt Pepper`s Lonely Hearts Club Band` one slot behind.
`Revolver` and `Rubber Soul` are back in the Top 20, along with stereo box set `The Beatles`, while the remaining nine studio albums are all likely to land in the Top 40 by Sunday.
And with the special-edition `Beatles Rock Band` computer game flying off the shop shelves too, the Beatles are back.
The remastered releases had been slammed by critics as a money-making scam but the public seems to be loving the return of the Mop Tops.
