Jade`s wedding to be broadcast

London, Mar 12: Jade Goody`s wedding will be broadcast on British television as the second half of a two-part special - it`s the latest stage of her life to be lived out in front of an audience.Before that on Wednesday night, the programme, `Jade: Bride To Be` will show the terminally ill star preparing for her big day - trying on designer dresses, eating eclairs and celebrating with champagne.

Goody is a British reality star, who first came to fame on the UK series of `Big Brother` in 2002, she says she let the cameras in to her wedding ceremony for money towards her family`s future. She reckons the publicity and profits made from selling her story will both help 4-year-old Freddie and 5-year-old Bobby Jack, and raise awareness of cervical cancer. Now that Jade`s cancer has spread to her liver and bowels - she`s going home from the Royal Marsden Hospital, along with a nurse to administer her medication, so she can spend as much time as she can at home with her family in Essex. It`s not thought she`ll be filming any more events and her publicist Max Clifford says her death is not expected to be televised or photographed. `Jade: Bride To Be` will show her fans what happened when she wed her 21-year-old boyfriend Jack Tweed on Sunday 22 February. Pictures from the ceremony have already been shown in the UK`s OK! magazine but the programme is part of her on-going series on the Living TV channel. The photos of the nuptials, along with television deals are believed to have earned Goody USD 1.4 million (US) dollars. Her first foray into the spotlight was in 2002, when she lost at strip poker on Britain`s version of `Big Brother.` She went on to write her autobiography, star in fitness videos, release a perfume and appear on `Celebrity Big Brother,` where she was accused of racism and bullying Bollywood star, Shilpa Shetty. To make amends, she went to India last summer to star in its version of `Big Brother.` It was there - in a shocking diagnosis captured on television - that she found out about her cancer. Most of the media have praised her commitment to her sons and her effort to draw attention to the need for regular Pap smears, which can catch cervical cancer in its early, treatable stages. Earlier this week Goody was woken in hospital by a female intruder carrying a hammer on Sunday (08 Mar, 2009). Police said Monday they had arrested a 41-year-old woman. They said the woman, whom they did not identify, has not been charged and was released. `Jade: Bride To Be` airs 9pm on UK channel Living TV Wednesday 11th March - with `Jade`s Wedding` being broadcast at 8pm on Thursday 12th March.
